The magnetic duo of Derek Andersen and Scott Land, better known as SLANDER, announced that their hit track ‘Love Is Gone’ featuring Dylan Matthew has gone gold. In a heartfelt post on Instagram, Derek and Scott thank their fans for receiving a gold certification on a song released 100% independently on their own label.
“If you are reading this you are a huge part of everything we do, and you are a part of the success of this song. We would not be here without your support, and we want you to know we love you so much.”
The duo also credits long-time collaborator and prolific vocalist Dylan Matthew, who lends his voice to the certified gold track.
“His beautiful work on this song truly made it transcend, and we cannot say enough amazing things about Dylan. He is 1 of a kind and every time we get to share the stage with him it’s absolutely electric.”
‘Love Is Gone’ has reached over 1 billion streams globally across all streaming platforms. The acoustic version reached over 200 million streams on Spotify alone. It also has been re-shared in over 1.2 million videos on TikTok.
