Sol Fest is one of Alabama’s newest camping/electronic music festival experiences looking to bring music lovers together in one spiritual community from May 5-7, 2023.
This camping and music experience is a sanctuary festival for attendees to connect, make lifelong friends, and create unforgettable memories to aid in healing from loss and hardships. With daily spiritual workshops and a memorial aspect for lost loved ones, Sol Fest truly drives home its goal to connect healing and music.
The event was named in honor of Quentin “Sol” Rupp, an avid festival goer who passed away in a tragic car accident at 26 years old. His family has been actively involved with Sol Fest and has become a part of carrying the memorial vision throughout the festival.
This year’s edition focuses on top-tier electronic dance music and art with 40+ artists, three stages, live and digital art, flow performers, and interactive installations such as a holographic water screen, live glass-blowing, mural pyramids, and the Black Sheep Circus.
The lineup for 2023 is also incredibly stacked with huge headliners like Liquid Stranger, Zeds Dead, and Champagne Drip B2B LUZCID, B2B Sully. TVBOO, A Hundred Drums, Wreckno, and special guest Deathpact will also bring the bass to Bama.
Furthermore, female progressive performers Mija and Blossom are going to play drum and bass sets for a skankin’ good time.
Sol Fest takes place at Bama Slam, a 1600-acre venue with elevated camping, a saloon, an inflatable waterpark, zip lines, and lakeside activities like kayaking and paddle boarding.
The 2023 edition will now feature three stages including a custom main stage with PK sound, one stage across the lake, and a stage at the waterpark.
