Space Ibiza Will Return In 2021

Space Ibiza

Space Ibiza’s founder, Pepe Roselló, confirmed via an interview

In an interview with Noudiari, Pepe Roselló announced that Space Ibiza is planning to come back “before 2022.” Although the 85-year-old did not specifically state what plans are in place for this year’s events, it is looking like he and Space Ibiza have a few ideas up their sleeve. In the interview, Roselló further commented that although Space Ibiza will be returning before 2022, the club will not be reopening this season. When it does reopen, it will do so with “Space.”

Carl Cox (one of Space Ibiza’s most influential artists) will be returning to the club once it decides to reopen, as Cox has stood by Roselló and has helped him develop Space Ibiza into what it is today. Space Ibiza opened its doors in 1986 before Roselló took over the venue in 1989. Once Roselló took over the venue, Space Ibiza began to grow its name from a small-name venue into one of the most recognized clubs in the world.

Although there is no specific date set in stone for Space Ibiza’s reopening, it’s looking like the club is planning for a grand re-opening sometime this year. We will circle back around once the club reveals its reopening date(s).
