Swedish House Mafia Drop New Single, “Redlight,” Along With Album Release Details

The resurrection of Swedish House Mafia (SHM) is almost complete. In just a few weeks, the trio will make their grand return to the stage at Coachella, but before that their album is coming first.

That’s right Paradise Again, the debut album from the titanic house trio of Axwell, Steve Angello, and Sebastian Ingrosso officially has a release date. The LP will be out Friday, April 15, 2022.

To keep fans satiated until then, SHM have shared a new music video for their latest single, entitled “Redlight.” Soundwise, the track is pure rave, and the video reflects that in kind. Flashing red lights reveal quickfire images of close-quarters dancing bodies as the three artists DJ in the center of the room.

Other than the visual aesthetic, the track gets its name from the vocal work of the esteemed guest vocalist: Sting. The legendary rocker gave his blessing for SHM to use the unmistakable lyrical line from “Roxanne,” the timeless classic from Sting’s band, The Police.

Perhaps one day Swedish House Mafia will live in history the same way as Sting and The Police.
