Rumors Fly Of A Third Upcoming Skrillex Album After Pop-Up Show In São Paulo

During a free pop-up show in São Paulo this past weekend, DJ and radio host Jyoty Singh may have revealed a third Skrillex album on the way.

The free pop-up, which also hosted M.I.A as a surprise guest, was held in Brazil’s Southern city as a part of his unofficial tour of Brazil. Skrillex had been traveling through the South American country performing at venues and shows including his surprise headlining set replacing Drake at Lollapalooza Brazil.

Singh can be seen on the decks while Skrillex acts as MC, hyping up the crowd. Singh then grabs the mic and drops the bombshell news stating, “We are working on a new Skrillex album.”

Although Skrillex has not commented yet on the rumored album, he was seen walking behind Singh during the announcement, throwing his arms up in the air in celebration.

There are no details to the new LP and Skrillex has a tendency to drop music and shows without much marketing, selling out a five-hour set at Red Rocks without even posting the concert on his social media.

Then there was of course when he dropped Don’t Get Too Close the same week as Quest For Fire, with the latter coming out during his now-famous Madison Square Garden set with Four Tet and Fred Again..

Check out the video below to see the exact moment a third Skrillex album in the works was revealed:
