Maxim’s Big Game Weekend is an annual musical celebration held ahead of the Super Bowl, and this year Tiësto and The Chainsmokers have been confirmed as headliners for the Los Angeles iteration. The event will take place February 11-12 at City Market LA, a former produce distribution center that has been repurposed into an outdoor event space.
Both major acts will perform a full 90-minute set along with special guests each night. The Chainsmokers are set to play on Friday, February 11 alongside Lil Baby with Tiësto helming the following evening, Saturday, February 12. Hip hop legend 50 Cent will host and perform on Saturday as well as Loud Luxury and DJ Vice.
“This is the biggest weekend in sports,” says Tiesto, “and I can’t wait to celebrate the moment in a big way with everyone coming to party with me at Maxim Electric Nights!”
“This annual event never fails to deliver, year after year, and we’re psyched to be a part of it and bring the energy and excitement to LA,” says The Chainsmokers’ Alex Pall.
Tickets are set to go on sale via tixr.com/groups/unkommonevents. No tickets options are showing at the time of publishing, but keep an eye on the site to see when they become available. A separate ticket will be required to enter each night, with the option to purchase VIP amenities.
Big Game Weekend is one of many events likely to pop up around Los Angeles ahead of the Super Bowl. This will be the first time since 1993 that the Super Bowl has been held in LA, and the City of Angels will certainly celebrate the return.
Another event is Shaq’s Fun House, which Shaquille O’Neal is hosting with Zedd and Diplo at the Shrine in Los Angeles on Friday, February 11.
