Timmy Trumpet just added another hobby to his list: baseball fan.
On Tuesday, August 30, Timmy Trumpet cemented himself in the baseball world as he threw the first pitch for the Mets v. Dodgers game and played “Take Me Out To The Ballgame.” He followed by surprising all and playing “Narco”, Edwin Díaz’s entrance song, live at Citi Field to a rapturous crowd as the pitcher made his entrance.
Díaz used “Narco” as his entrance song in 2018, his final year in Seattle, then brought it back before the 2020 season and has since used the trumpet-heavy hit to walk onto the field.
DJ, producer, and live instrumentalist Timmy Trumpet is an award-winning, multi-platinum-selling recording artist. “Narco” hit the No. 1 spot on Spotify’s Viral 50 chart this month and his breakout track “Freaks” has reigned in over half a billion streams and is the highest-selling track of all time on Ministry of Sound Australia.
