Tinder Is Reviving Festival Mode For The 2022 Season

The first true festival season in three years is a big deal, and Tinder is doing its part to celebrate. The dating app is once again including festival mode in the platform to allow people to match based on music festivals they’re attending.

Tinder has partnered with various festivals around the world including All Points East, Sónar, Lollapalooza Paris and Lovers & Friends. Users can access the feature through the app’s Explore page. Festivals will be one of the options they can use to match with others based on common interests.

“Music is a universal language and the number-one interest among Tinder members worldwide. So many of our members are excited to jump back into in-person events. We wanted to build on that excitement and offer them a head start at meeting someone new ahead of one of the biggest festival seasons in years,” said Kyle Miller, VP of Product Innovation at Tinder.

With many festivals opening for the first time this Summer, love will certainly be in the air. Might be time to re-download that app and see what happens.
