Tomorrowland 2020 Sells Out Within Minutes

Come this July, Tomorrowland 2020 returns for a sixteenth season to the beautiful location in Boom, Belgium for two weekends this summer. As arguably the largest festival in the world, it is not a surprise that the tickets for the event sold out within a shocking five minutes this past weekend with approximately 400,000 tickets sold to electronic music fans around the globe. The festival sold out for both weekends, which are set to take place July 17th to 19th, 2020 for Weekend 1 and July 24th to 26th, 2020 for Weekend 2.

The festival consistently sells out every year, and each year the chance to score tickets has become more difficult as the popularity of the event increases exponentially. For the first time in years, Tomorrowland curators released the full lineup prior to the last round of ticket sales. This was an unusual move, as the full lineup is typically released closer to the festival date while dropping enigmatic hints along the way via social media and the Tomorrowland website.

With a stellar lineup this year packed with the top headliners from around the world, it makes sense that the tickets this year were even more sought after than ever. Among the hundreds of artists in attendance this year,  several long-time Tomorrowland favorites will be returning including Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Afrojack, Timmy Trumpet, Armin van Buuren, Tiesto, Alesso, Oliver Heldens, Don Diablo, Nicky Romero, Axwell, and David Guetta.

Martin Garrix has been confirmed to perform on MainStage after curating a stage last year with his label STMPD Records. After an amazing closeout last year, 3 Are Legend are back for another epic year as Steve Aoki, Dimitri Vegas, and Like Mike join forces as a legendary trio. Additionally, several new additions to the lineup will include Duck Sauce (the duo comprised of A-Trak and Armand van Helden) and Illenium for the first time. Eric Prydz will also be back after his renowned HOLOSPHERE debut last year for the 15th Anniversary of Tomorrowland.

While tickets are now officially sold out, Tomorrowland always does an excellent job of providing a livestream so that the magic can be shared amongst all fans. For those that were lucky enough to score tickets, get ready for the weekend of your life. For those that will be watching from the comfort of your home, sit back and enjoy the show!
