Tomorrowland‘s 20-year anniversary celebrations will continue well after its hallmark Belgian festival is complete. Today, the festival giant has announced its special Our Story show, set to take place during Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) at the city’s Ziggo Dome on Friday, October 18, 2024.
Organizers have promised “a magical spectacle and journey through 20 years of Tomorrowland’s musical history.” Some of the world’s best electronic artists are slated to perform their most iconic tracks to an expected crowd of 15,000 fans, according to a Tomorrowland press release.
Tomorrowland’s renowned creative team is building the show, led by the brand’s famous Symphony of Unity. The live orchestra appears at every edition of Tomorrowland Belgium to present instrumental renditions of electronic music’s biggest hits, and they’ll once again “unite classical and electronic music” on stage at Our Story.
Adding intrigue, Tomorrowland will keep its Our Story lineup under wraps until the moment each artist takes the stage. All proceeds from Our Story 2024 will go to the Tomorrowland Foundation, the company’s non-profit that supports self-expression for children around the world through music and other creative outlets.
In 2019, Tomorrowland commemorated 15 years with its first two Our Story shows, also at the Ziggo Dome during ADE. Those shows took 28,000 people from over 100 different countries on a three-hour journey through Tomorrowland’s then-15-year musical history. Afrojack, Armin van Buuren, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Goose (Belgium), Netsky, Push, Steve Aoki, The Bloody Beetroots, Tiësto and more played their biggest tracks, supported by the Symphony of Unity.
Featuring performances from Armin Van Buuren, Swedish House Mafia, Amelie Lens, Vintage Culture and hundreds more, Tomorrowland Belgium, which draws an annual attendance of over 400,000 “People of Tomorrow,” will return to Boom, Belgium’s De Schorre Park over two weekends this summer: July 19-21 and July 26-28, 2024.
