Ultra Miami Will Debut New Techno “Cove” For 2020 Festival

Ultra Music Festival is back at Bayfront Park in 2020! After going through a long back and forth with the city of Miami, the festival is slated to return next March to its beloved home.

Despite some of the logistical issues raised at this year’s Ultra Music Festival at Virginia Key Beach, the festival received a lot of praise for it’s dedicated house and techno area, dubbed “Resistance Island.” Resistance is Ultra’s house and techno brand and puts on events all around the world. The brand just wrapped an amazing summer residency at the world’s largest club, Privilege, in Ibiza (which I might add was absolutely mental this year, and worth checking out!)

The excitement for this area was definitely heard because now Ultra is bringing back a similar spot for house and techno fans in 2020. Next year, Ultra is inviting fans of the underground sounds to “Resistance Cove.” According to social posts today by Ultra, fans can expect a completely new experience and a “reconfigured layout” that will be “nestled in a secluded alcove overlooking Biscayne Bay.”

Pretty exciting stuff, if you ask me! Ultra returns to Bayfront Park next March 20+21+22. You can check out the full announcement below.
