Ultra’s 20th Anniversary Kicks Off Next Week

The 20th anniversary of one of the world’s most beloved music festivals is upon us.

Next week, Ultra Music Festival will return to Miami’s Bayfront Park with six stages of music to celebrate 20 years of dance music. This year’s festival is set to be the festival’s most massive edition yet.

With less than a week away, dance music diehards will flock to Miami to celebrate the festival that has since blossomed into a worldwide phenomenon. Started in 1999, the festival has grown from one day to three massive days. The festival has become notorious for artists to debut new music, for special appearances and the official beginning to festival season. The festival will be celebrating it’s massive success this year with an all-star lineup featuring the biggest names in dance music, as well as special surprise performances.

Ultra is famously known to bring some of the world’s biggest DJs, as well as upcoming talent. This year is absolutely no exception. Eric Pyrdz, Armin van Buuren, Kaskade, Tiesto and many others will be bring their A-game to Bayfront Park. The stages will feature a variety of different genres fit for any dance music maniac. Some highlights include VIRTUAL SELF on the LIVE stage, as well as some exclusive stage takeovers from REVEALED, JACKED, and Brownies & Lemonade.

The lineup this year also includes the now world-famous RESISTANCE stage, which will be hosted by Carl Cox. Some of the biggest names in Techno will grace this stage including Joseph Capriati, Adam Beyer, Maceo Plex and more. We’re really looking forward to seeing the return of RESISTANCE take over the megastructure. The mind-bending production and visuals will make this stage one fans will be talking about for a while.

ASOT (A State of Trance) will make it’s return on Sunday for a very special edition of ASOT 850. Trance fans from all over the globe will descend on to Downtown Miami for an epic edition of Armin van Buuren’s famous radio show.  This year’s lineup features Paul Oakenfold, Eric Prydz, Andrew Rayel amongst others. There’s also a “Special guest” slated to close the ASOT stage on Sunday, the last day of the festival.

Speaking of special guests, we can’t help but mention all of the insane rumors going around about this year’s festival. Ultra itself has been teasing “expect the unexpected” and “surprise performances” at this year’s anniversary edition. There have been tons of speculation around who these surprises might actually be. Ultra has even left clues in this year’s ticket packaging, sending fans into a tailspin. You can expect Ultra to pull out all the stops this year.

This year’s festival is completely sold out. Ultra Music Festival returns to Bayfront Park March 23-25. If you weren’t lucky enough to grab tickets, stay tuned for livestream details.
