Wenzday has just released her debut single on Repopulate Mars, “Your Fantasy” with Kaysin and Haylee Wood.
While Wenzday, real name Taylor Chung, is best known for her bass house sound, “Your Fantasy” is a welcomed tech house anthem that is sure to become a staple in future live sets.
Kaysin’s tech house expertise and Wenzday’s ability to create club bangers make this track a catchy house tune. “I can be your fantasy, I got everything you need” is the hypnotizing catchphrase created by vocalist, Haylee Wood, that completes the single. Backed by a tribal percussion tech house beat, the song is set to be a crowd-pleaser.
In a joint statement regarding the track, Wenzday and Kaysin stated, “When we got into the studio, our goal was to make a record to accompany the perfect night out. After multiple studio sessions, tons of club testing, and feedback from our peers, the club heater, ‘Your Fantasy’ was born.”
According to the statement, they knew something was missing and decided to add on Haylee Wood’s songwriting and vocal ability. They continued, “In basically one take, we had what we knew was the perfect vocal to give this song exactly what it needed.”
Wenzday hails from the Bay Area and is a multifaceted producer and artist. Her breakout hit “Heart Break House” shot her into the spotlight as a house producer and has allowed her to play at the likes of Coachella, EDC Las Vegas, and more.
Kaysin is also from the Los Angeles area and is a part of the A&R team at Lee Foss‘ Repopulate Mars label.
