WHIPPED CREAM is making her much-anticipated return to MonsterCat after releasing her emotionally driven ‘Light of Mine.’ Continuing to release her most personal music to date, ‘CRY’ channels her raw emotion and pain in order to connect with us on a deeper level. ‘CRY’ is about reaching your breaking point, being left with no tears or energy, and coming out of a situation stronger than before after being left utterly broken.
‘CRY’ opens with hauntingly beautiful vocals where you can feel the raw emotion and pain, leading into a bass-heavy synth line and drum kicks, constantly reminded that you won’t “hear me cry.” It’s an emotionally stirring track, letting those that hurt you know that you’re done, ready to pick up the pieces of what’s left and build back stronger than ever before.
As part of the Monstercat Crossover Pass in the award-winning video game Paladins, WHIPPED CREAM will be reimagined as ‘Cassie,’ and available to play in-game next month, complete with her soundtrack to ‘CRY.’
