Up-and-coming artist OKAYVAL has released her groovy new single “You Make Me,” a funky house tune complete with saxophone and beautiful vocals.
“Out on the roof stargazing, you make me feel so amazing” is the song’s catchy tagline, produced by OKAYVAL herself. The backtrack is complete with an addictive house beat and saxophone sprinkled in.
This single brings a feeling of nostalgia to listeners, as the thought of stargazing next to a loved one can bring a smile to anyone’s face.
Hailing from Jacksonville, FL, OKAYVAL (Val) has always had a deep love of production and began her musical journey producing big room house under a different alias, Hiedra Music, with inspirations from the likes of Martin Garrix, Dom Dolla, and more.
After taking a step back during college, Val has returned as OKAYVAL, making music focusing more on deep and tech house. Her single “Poison,” released today, takes a deeper route than “You Make Me” but is just as catchy. As a follow-up track, this melody dives into the poison someone unhealthy for us can be, backed by a deep house beat.
She has received praise from Max Styler and Haylee Wood and has recently signed to Alt:Vision Records.
