ZHU Delivers 3 New Remixes To Celebrate 25 Years Of Pokémon

The legendary gaming franchise, Pokémon, celebrates its 25th anniversary this year, and ZHU has honored this milestone with three new remixes. Together, this trio of tunes comprises The Blue EP, which comes as a counterpart to The Red EP, released earlier this month.

The Red EP features three original songs from Cyn, Mabel, and Vince Staples respectively, while The Blue EP sees ZHU remix each of the tracks. Those who remember choosing between the Red and Blue versions of Pokémon for their Gameboy Colors might be recalling some happy memories right now.

Both EPs come as part of Capitol Records’ P25 music program which will honor the anniversary in a plethora of ways. Soon ZHU will launch a Pokemon themed clothing line, and Pokemon 25: The Album is on the way with artists like Katy Perry, Post Malone, and J Balvin contributing music.
