This past weekend, the Grammy Awards announced that they will be re-scheduling their 63rd event. The Grammy Awards were supposed to take place on January 31st but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the award ceremony has now been rescheduled for March 14 of this year. March 14 happens to be the same date as the SAG Awards (who also had to re-schedule). Despite the conflict, the 63rd annual Grammy Awards will continue as planned.
This year, presenters and performers will have to present themselves to an empty audience due to the pandemic. Award-winning speeches will be made virtually and so will any other speech or announcement. This is unlike anything the Grammy’s has ever had to endure, but it will be exciting to see how they will incorporate virtual presentations within their awards ceremony.
