The time has come for yet another EDM heavy hitter to establish their presence in the radio show circuit. According to Apple Music DJ and radio personality, Zane Lowe, the next addition to Beats 1 Radio will be none other than Mr. Joel Zimmerman, more commonly known as Deadmau5. Zimmerman will be joining the likes of artists like Pharrell Williams, Dr. Dre, Q-Tip and Major Lazer who’ve all hosted their own shows via the Apple Music Beats 1 radio platform. According to Lowe, the benefit to working with Apple Music is that they “don’t tell any artist what to play, never ever put any creative restraint on what they want to do.” Which, most would agree, is an ideal agreement for an artist like Deadmau5.

Other than it’s title, Mau5trap Presents, not much is known of what’s in store for listeners. We do know it premieres this upcoming Friday, March 18th at 3PM PT/6PM ET. Perhaps debuting with some exclusive content from Miami’s Winter Music Conference or Ultra Music Festival?
