A new open-air, waterside club, Dockyards, will be settling inside the heart of East London’s historic Royal Docks in Silvertown Quays later this year.
The venue will be taking over 400,000 square feet to provide new stomping grounds for club goers, art lovers, and various cultures. Put together by London’s event management company, Boardwick Live, the space is expected to have events all year round, and not limited to just music. For instance, film production, brand experiences, and a limitless amount of other events.
According to an article published by DJ Mag, Bradley Thompson, Group Managing Director of Broadwick Live, said “Dockyards will shape the area through cultural and commercial innovation by bringing a year round program of events and activities in partnership with the world’s best.”
Dockyards will open their space to the public on September 3 for a two day event led by British house music label, Defected Records. Keeping up with the exciting momentum, Group Therapy Weekender with Above & Beyond will be embracing East London’s new venue on September 11 for another two day event.
With two stacked weekends back-to-back, Dockyards is already proving to be a monumental space for the arts and music.
