4 Artists You Can’t Miss At Project Glow Festival 2022

The first-ever Project Glow in Washington D.C, is almost here. This festival is held at RFK Festival Grounds and will feature a variety of artists: both Insomniac regulars and new favorites. The outfits, transportation, and hotel are all set, but making any decisions when it comes to set times, check out these four artists to see at Project Glow.

CID

CID is a tech-house staple in the scene. He performed at EDC in 2017 and he runs a record label called “Night Service Only”. He’s also collaborated with huge names like Kaskade, Dombresky, and Loud Luxury. His song “Nights Like This” with Loud Luxury has over 40 million streams on Spotify.

Songs to check out- “Sweet Memories”- CID & Kaskade, “R.E.A.L”- CID & Dombresky, “Downstairs”- CID & Jaquell

Lutrell

Lutrell is just coming off of 2 successful weekends at Coachella and is ready to hit Project Glow with his iconic mustache. A regular with Anjunabeats, Lutrell’s sound is a wonderful mixture of melodic and intense. He toured with Lane 8 and Anjunadeep back in 2018 and is sure to bring the deep sounds to D.C.

Songs to check out- “Twin Souls”, “Gibberish”- Lutrell, Ben Bohmer, & Margret, “More Than Human”

MK B2B Sonny Fodera

This B2B is a house music lovers dream. MK, abbreviated for Marc Kinchen, has tracks with heavy hitters like Gorgon City, Anabel Englund, and Becky Hill. He has even worked with Snoop Dogg and Rihanna and Will Smith back in the day. Sonny Fodera hails from Australia and has played Coachella, Tomorrowland, and currently has a residency in Ibiza with Gorgon City. But this isn’t the first time the two producers have collaborated. Their song “One Night” has over 56 million plays on Spotify.

Songs to check out- “17”-MK, “One Night”- MK & Sonny Fodera, “Turn Back Time”- Sonny Fodera & Diplo.

Krewella

Krewella has been on the scene since 2011, and are well known for their platinum certified song “Alive”, released on their Play Hard EP in 2012. The female duo has played at some of the biggest festivals in the world: Coachella, Lollapalooza, and Tomorrowland to name a few. EDM Maniac also recently interviewed them about their newest album The Body Never Lies which they described as “emotive”, “darkly euphoric”, and “high energy”. Expect to feel this energy during their set. You can check out the full Q&A with EDM Maniac here.

Songs to check out- “Alive”, “No Regrets”- KSHMR & Yves V (featuring Krewella), “Goddess”- Krewella, NERVO, & Raja Kumari.

House heads and headbangers will have a place at Project Glow. This is a festival to explore new artists as much as it is to enjoy known favorites. As the inaugural Project Glow, this could be a historic event that launches a new legacy in the history books of Insomniac.. Tickets are still available here.
