Swedish House Mafia & The Weeknd Come Together For Song On New ‘Avatar’ Soundtrack

Swedish House Mafia and The Weeknd will join forces once again for a new song that will appear on the soundtrack to the upcoming film Avatar: The Way Of Water.

The news was revealed on a social media post from Swedish House Mafia (SHM). The post shows a trailer from the highly-anticipated James Cameron sequel with a statement from the trio saying, “It’s an honor to be involved in this monumental film with our brother Abel and the legendary Simon Franglen.”

Grammy-winning composer Simon Franglen handled the film’s score and worked with SHM and The Weeknd on the piece.

“Nothing Is Lost” is the name of the track which will be released on December 15, the day before the worldwide release of the sequel to the 2009 top-grossing film Avatar.

SHM and The Weeknd famously headlined together at Coachella this past year and collaborated on the hit single “Moth To A Flame” from SHM’s debut album, Paradise Again.
