A Tomorrowland Winter festival might soon land at French ski resort.
The annual festival phenomenon occurs every summer for two weekends in Belgium. It might now be headed to France in 2019.
Over the past year, the Belgian organization has been rumored to be in negotiation with several contenders to add an additional festival to it’s roster. Tomorrowland has attempted to expand the festival before: there was an edition in Brazil, and it even landed in the USA as “TomorrowWorld” a few years ago, but both festivals have not returned.
However, it now seems like a ski resort in France might have won the opportunity to host “Tomorrowland Winter” in March 2019. According to the website Alpe d’Huez, (a ski resort in the French Alps), the resort is looking for local Ambassadors to sell tickets, accommodations and ski passes to the inaugural event. The website states ski passes will be available during the week of March 9 to 16, 2019, with the the official Tomorrowland Winter festival days Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
The ski resort site recognizes the event as “An integral fusion between music, ski and nature.”
Furthermore, the domain TomorrowlandWinter.com has now been registered to Tomorrowland officials, with an official Tomorrowland contact email.
Also of note: the Tomorrowland website landing page is now redirecting to 369.tomorrowland.com… could this reference 369 days from today? That would be March 12, 2019. According to the ski resort site, that could be the official start date to Tomorrowland Winter.
Will Tomorrowland soon announce Tomorrowland Winter? All signs point to yes! We might soon find out, so stay tuned for more information if and when it becomes available.
