Day Zero Festival returns to Tulum on January 10th, 2020 for another season of music, culture, art, and partying amidst the gorgeous jungle backdrop that makes up this beautiful city. Back in 2012, Day Zero Festival began as a tradition that paid homage to Mayan culture when it was hosted on the final day of the Mayan calendar. Since then, this festival has grown to encompass a mix of culture with the mysticism that surrounds humanity through a connection with nature and transcendent experience. Located in the jungle of Cenote dos Palmas, attendees dance the night away from sunset to sunrise with some of the most exciting artists in electronic music curated by Damian Lazarus.
This festival follows the debut of Day Zero in another heritage site located in Masada, Israel on September 27thof 2019. Featured artists in Masada include Bedouin, Chaim, Damian Lazarus, Davi, Gorgon City, Jamie Jones, Marco Carola, Magit Cacoon, Monolink, and Satori. As part of all Day Zero events, the organizers aim to curate a surreal experience through a twist on the modern-rave by providing unique performances and music. Additionally, Day Zero places a strong focus on nature by fostering an environmentally-friend environment and focusing on sustainability. The unique combination and mindset of this festival will certainly lead to a weekend to remember! For more, visit dayzerofestival.com. In the meantime, stay tuned for more announcements and line-ups!
