A State Of Trance 1000 Will Be Postponed To 2022

Armin Van Buuren‘s A State of Trance (ASOT) 1000 celebration will now take place February 18-19, 2022 in the Dutch city of Jaarbeurs, Utrecht. The original dates for the event were September 3-4, 2021. The postponement comes in response to new COVID-19 restrictions surrounding events in The Netherlands that will prevent large-scale gatherings until at least September 20.

Armin Van Buuren shared the following statement regarding the change of date:

“I am extremely disappointed that we have to postpone the 1000th ASOT show. I was looking forward to getting back on stage and celebrating this milestone with you. However, there is also positive news, the new dates for ASOT1000 are February 18 and 19, 2022. We are going to do everything we can to celebrate next year bigger than ever, in any case I can’t wait.”

All tickets for ASOT in Utrecht will transfer over to the new dates along with official hotel bookings for the event. Refunds will also be available for those who can’t make it. An email with specific instructions will go out to ticket-holders, and more information is available here via the FAQ page on the ASOT website.

A State of Trance Utrecht is one of many events in The Netherlands affected by new COVID-19 restrictions. As a result, the organizers of the event have joined Unmute Us!, a nationwide protest effort from nearly 500 different live music entities.
