Avicii Health Crisis: Cancels Tour

If you planned on seeing Avicii at TomorrowWorld later this month, think again. He has cancelled all shows on his tour as he recovers from a surgery earlier this year. You may recall the 25 year old had his gall bladder removed in March during Miami Music Week. The Swede, whose real name is Tim Bergling, needs to take a break from his grueling tour schedule to focus on his own health.

This means his you likely won’t be able to see him at his residency in Las Vegas at XS or Encore at the Wynn and TomorrowWorld organizers will have to find a big name to replace him on the lineup. His appearance at Escape on Halloween is also in jeopardy.

It’s just the latest health issue for the rising dj and producer.  In 2013, he was hospitalized in Australia due to pancreatitis that was brought on by heavy drinking. Then he had his gallbladder and appendix removed, and now this….

We hope Avicii gets healthy so he can be back on the festival circuit, and wish him a speedy recovery.
