Avicii’s Father Set to Discuss Mental Health at IMS Ibiza 2019

After the incredibly devasting passing of Tim Bergling, AKA Avicii, there has been a huge increase in the awareness of mental health and how important it is to treat and discuss.

Just last year, Pete Tong gave an awe-inspiring and moving tribute to Avicii at the International Music Summit (IMS) that really demonstrated the young life that was lost. This year, something amazing will take place. Avicii’s father, Klas Bergling, will join Pete Tong and will share his ideas on how to avoid this kind of tragedy as well as discuss the important work that the Tim Bergling Foundation will do to support people and organizations working in the field of mental illness and suicide prevention.

Additionally, the keynote topic at this year’s summit, the Mental Health Crisis Debate will also include esteemed DJ and producer Luciano as well as mental health campaigner Professor Green. They will produce a vital discussion and what the music industry can do to protect the health of all the artists within it.

The premier global platform for business, education, and culture in the EDM industry, IMS Ibiza, will once more unite the most leading global industry figures at the 12th edition for its annual three-day inspirational forum.
