We are here for it, and we can’t believe this hasn’t happened sooner. Next month, BBC Radio 1 will be launching their very own 24-hour dance station. Throughout the day, they will bring us an ensemble of “current, future and classic hits.” You can start tuning in on Friday, October 9 at 8am PT.
To add to the hype, guest DJs will take over the station at specified times each week as follows:
Monday-Thursday
8-10 a.m: Pete Tong
10 a.m.-12 p.m.: Essentials Mixes
12-2 p.m.: Renee La Vice’s drum and bass show
2-4 p.m.: Resident DJs (including Disclosure and Amelie Lens)
