Tomorrow kicks off a twelve-hour livestream series Electronic Labor Day in an effort to raise money for Beirut. Last month, the city of Beirut in Lebanon faced a devastating crisis following a massive explosion. The disaster has taken a major toll on the historic city after months of suffering economic strain due to coronavirus.
Throughout the struggles faced during 2020, the electronic music community has joined together to raise money for a variety of causes ranging from COVID-19 relief to disaster relief. Electronic Labor Day is another major event that benefits a good cause while uniting fans around the world.
In a collaboration with Beat Reconnect, Electronic Labor Day features appearances by some of the most respected artists in the industry including Amelie Lens, Carl Cox, Danny Howard, Danny Tenaglia, Dennis Ferrer, Junior Sanchez, Derrick May, Kolsch, Luciano, Nastia, Pete Tong, Roger Sanchez, Skream, and hundreds of other international artists.
The event kicks off on Sunday September 13th at 3:58AM PST (1:58PM in Beirut) for twelve hours of non-stop dance music. During the livestream, fans will be able to donate in order to exceed the goal of $500,000. The funds raise will be donated to Bebw’shebbek, Beirut Emergency Fund, and Disaster Relief For Beirut Explosion Fund. To join in, head here tomorrow!
