David Guetta Rings in 2022 Live From Abu Dhabi

We all remember the epic United at Home performance by David Guetta at the renowned art museum Musée de Louvre in his home country of France last year for New Year’s Eve. To ring in the coming year, the superstar DJ and producer will be taking the stage from the Louvre again…this time at the location in Abu Dhabi.

In a partnership with the museum, Guetta will be performing from a floating stage that was crafted specifically for this performance. Built by a team of engineers and scuba divers from around the world, the stage hovers above the water that surrounds the Louvre Abu Dhabi. Built in 2017 in a partnership with France, the museum is an architectural wonder that is home to renowned artwork. With the iconic museum as a backdrop, the show will incorporate these famous art pieces into the state-of-the-art visual displays by integrating projections of the masterpieces held within the Louvre Abu Dhabi. Paired with over 500 light fixtures and 65-foot-high flames, the performance is set to be phenomenal with the visuals and pyrotechnics alone.

According to the Department of Culture and Tourism, “To have a global artist who is loved around the world, combined with the iconic architectural artistry of the Louvre Abu Dhabi and the wonders it houses, is phenomenal. We are proud that we can host this unmissable moment in Abu Dhabi, a destination that brings communities together and welcomes visitors from across the globe. The sheer scale of David Guetta’s performance at Louvre Abu Dhabi will be one to witness this New Year’s Eve.”

As always, the world-renowned artist is set to play a next-level set. Fans across the globe will be able to tune in for the show at 12pm PST here. Per David Guetta, “The Louvre is one of the most iconic venues in the world and I am so excited to be playing at the Abu Dhabi counterpart this New Year’s Eve after the success of my Paris livestream last year. It’s an honour to be invited to come and perform; we’ve got out of this world production once again this year and it’s going to be an electrifying show and an amazing night. I can’t wait to connect with you all and celebrate the New Year together.”
