Almost 100,000 Hard-Dance Fans Gathered To Fistpump At Defqon.1 2022

Almost 100,000 hardstyle and hard dance fans gathered for an unforgettable Defqon.1 Weekend Festival 2022. It was an incredible weekend as this was the first year attendees could party to the hardest beats for four straight days.

The festival also had 50,000 campers all together to enjoy hardstyle, hard-dance, and drum and bass. These high-energy music lovers came from over 100 countries all across the globe to pump their fists and feel a sense of community.

Jonas Schmidt, Creative Director at Q-Dance, stated, “The addition of the fourth day exceeded all our expectations; it gave people more time to discover the world of Defqon.1 and to temporize.”

Further expanding their reach, the event was also live-streamed through the Q-Dance Network app so those at home could experience the world of hard dance.

Defqon.1 is held in Biddinghuizen in the Netherlands and hosted by Q-dance, the world’s biggest hardstyle event organizer. This year’s lineup featured some of the biggest names in hard-dance like Da Tweekaz (Live), Wildstylez, Headhunterz, and Audiofreq.

Check out the extended aftermovie from every Defqon.1 edition below. Q-Dance is hosting a stage takeover this year at Tomorrowland, bringing its top hard-dance acts to Belgium.
