We are just a few weeks away from the annual Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas. This is the 5th year the festival will be in Vegas. Each year the festival gets bigger and better.
General admission tickets sold out months ago. But you can still get inside the biggest festival in North America if you get a VIP pass. Only a few tickets remain and cost $699 without taxes.
This year, VIP will totally be worth the extra cash. You’ll be able to access a new viewing area in front of the Cosmic Meadow stage. That spot will provide you with an amazing view of the stage. It will join other elevated viewing platforms that are located at Kinetic Field and Circuit Grounds. VIP pass holders can also access VIP courtyards that are filled with fun and exciting new things this year. There will be photo booths, free makeup artists who can apply body paint, and a massive ball pit! This is in addition to the VIP ferris wheel and bar areas.
VIP’s will have free drink options this year! If you are hungry, you can access the VIP dining deck. It will provide you with a spectacular view of Kinetic Field and some tasty food you won’t find anywhere else. VIP’s also have free wi-fi spots and phone charging stations. The best part, you also get a special entry line that is much faster.
Last year more than 400,000 people attended EDC Las Vegas from 50 states and 40 countries. The festival sold out, as did many hotels across Sin City. So, be sure to book your hotel room immediately to avoid sky-high prices. Check out the official EDC website for a look at their travel packages! You can also visit EDMManiac.com for a look at some exclusive travel packages that are still available. This will help save you come cash during EDC.
This year I’m VERY excited to catch my first live performance by Galantis. I missed seeing them at Coachella and plan on making this my “Must-See” set of the weekend.
I’m also very eager to catch sets by Above&Beyond, Bingo Players, Chris Liebing, Dannic, Darren Styles, Duke Dumont, Eric Prydz, Fatboy Slim, Sigma and Victor Calderone. There is so much talent at EDC this year, I just hope there aren’t too many set conflicts.
With just weeks until EDC, its time to get those outfits ready. Expect to show a lot of skin in Sin City, as temperatures will be very warm. Plus, it gets hot when dancing all night long.
It’s crazy for me to think about, but EDC is now in its 19th year. I remember going to my first EDC over a decade ago. 15 years ago to be exact. The festival has changed in so many ways. But what has stayed the same is the love and positive vibes that exude from all of it’s colorful attendees. Where else can you enjoy free carnival rides, hear world-class DJs, witness amazing pyrotechnics and audio/visual production all while interacting with thousands of music loving fans from all over the world? Be sure and let us know about your experiences at EDC and which DJ’s you are excited to see!
The lineup is sensational this year – so make sure to be there in June.
We know Insomniac will not surely not disappoint with the production, and are confident this year is going to blow every other year out of the water. Expect them to start teasing construction pics as the magic begins to unfold at the speedway!
Remember: your experience at EDC is what you make of it, so be sure to bring nothing but those positive vibes!
See you under the Electric Sky!
