This November, Insomniac is going nautical with the debut cruise ship festival, EDSea.
Modeled after events like Groove Cruise, Friendship, and Holy Ship!, Insomniac will bring the full festival experience to an international cruise liner. Specifically, EDSea will take place on the Norwegian Joy, one of Norwegian Cruise Line’s Breakaway-class cruise ships.
On top of the massive list of amenities these ships offer like a two-level go-kart track, galactic laser tag, and an Aqua Park, EDSea will feature eight stages spanning the full spectrum of electronic music, just like an EDC on land.
Few details have been announced about the programming at this time, but if this cruise ship festival is anything like its counterparts, the music will be running all day and night and will also feature a plethora of artist-run activities and experiences.
Departing on November 4, 2023, from Miami, EDSea will stop at the Bahamian island of Nassau and the private island of Great Stirrup Cay before returning to port on November 8.
Cabin presale for EDSea begins on Tuesday, January 17, 2023. Click here to sign up and learn more about the maiden voyage of EDSea.
