Kanye West is officially running for President in 2020.
“We must now realize the promise of America by trusting God, unifying our vision and building our future. I am running for president of the United States,” West tweeted tonight, along with the hashtag #2020VISION.
You might remember Kanye saying he will run in 2024 back in November, but today’s announcement came as somewhat of a shock.
Kanye did say during the 2015 MTV VMAs that he would have a potential 2020 run after receiving the Video Vanguard Award from Taylor Swift.
