Funk never dies as KAYTRANADA teams up with half of Silk Sonic, Anderson .Paak, to produce the funky single “Twin Flame”.
“Twin Flame” is simple but groovy, with the same BPM of one of KAYTRANADA’s many sexy tracks. The song also accompanies a stunning black and white video where the two artists dance and perform in a warehouse surrounded by flashing lights. Their outfits are iconic, combining 80s drama with modern silhouettes and mirroring the song’s nostalgic nature.
This track follows KAYTRANADA’s Intimidated EP which featured H.E.R., Thundercat, and Mach-Hommy. KAYTRANADA received two Grammys in 2021, one for his Bubba LP and another for his song “10%” with Kali Uchis. Anderson .Paak is one member of Silk Sonic, his duo with R&B-pop singer Bruno Mars.
