Lightning in a Bottle has become one of the largest transformational camping festivals in the United States, creating a unique environment for attendees to connect with and experience the world around them in a beautiful and unexpected way. While the lineup and music are both highly anticipated, there is so much more to LIB than just the music. LIB has become a fan favorite festival over the past couple years, and that’s in part because of the vast amount of activities and experiences to partake in. This list is a small sample of all the excitement that awaits you at Lake San Antonio.
WORKSHOPS
Learn by doing in hands-on workshops ranging in topics from cooking to medicine healing to skill-based trades and so much more. LIB is one of the only places you can participate in some of these workshops, so make sure to soak in as much as you can.
SPEAKERS
Immerse yourself in over 150 talks, panels, and discussions some of the world’s leading visionaries, and thought leaders. Open your mind to new perspectives, viewpoints, and narratives you may not have considered before. There is so much to learn, and these inspirational leaders of thought will introduce you to topics ranging from sex to sustainability and beyond.
CLASSES
Wellness and healing classes abound in the form of sound healing, body workers, traditional healers, and so much more. Learn and experience first hand the healing benefits of these world-renowned practitioners. Feel the healing benefits of all these classes have to over and take those benefits back into the real world with you.
ART
Art takes many different forms at LIB, from live painting and art walks to the art installations to the performance artists to the iconic stages and structures themselves – art is all around you waiting to be experienced. Open yourself up to all of the beautiful, unique art forms you will interact with over this magical weekend.
In addition to all of this, there is also the world’s biggest skeeball game, the annual LIB soapbox derby, and make-over station, barbershop, and so much more.
