Lightning In A Bottle Reveals Phase One Of 2020 Lineup

2020 –  a new year and a new decade mean that it’s almost time for everyone’s favorite season to come back around – festival season! As we move through January, all of our favorite festivals are slowly starting to release their lineups for the 2020 season. Which brings us to this: North America’s premier independent music and arts festival Lightning in a Bottle has just dropped their Phase I lineup for this year’s rendition.

Featuring artists like James Blake (who will be performing a special DJ set), Kaytranada, Sylvan Esso, Griz, Purity Ring, Four Tet, Big Wild, Nina Kraviz, Bob Moses (club set), Stephan Bodzin, Keys N Krates (DJ set), Emancipator, Justin Martin, ARTBAT, Doja Cat, Noisia (who are currently on their farewell circuit as this is their last year playing together as Noisia), and many more talented names that are sure to make Lightning in a Bottle 2020 the most iconic year yet.

With a variety of genres spanning from house and techno to bass to live and everything in between, Lightning in a Bottle promises to have something for everyone to enjoy. With its multistage layout consisting of Lighting, Thunder, Woogie, Favela, The Stacks, and Grand Artique stages, there’s no shortage of great music. And if you choose to beat the crowds by purchasing the 5-day festival pass that allows for early entry on Wednesday, you will also get access to the 7-hour lakeside day party put on by the Desert Hearts crew (Mikey Lion, Porkchop, Lee Reynolds, and Marbs). And Wednesday evening, Joe Kay, the CEO and founder of Soulection, will keep the early bird party going with his 4-hour takeover of The Stacks stage.

While music is the driving force behind every music festival, Lightning in a Bottle provides something beyond the music lineup. Attendees return year after year not just for the music, but to experience the growing community of adventurers, educators, and visual artists that make up the entirety of the festival’s programming. From health and wellness workshops hosted at the Compass and Learning Kitchen to extensive yoga programming that allows attendees to truly unwind, Lightning in a Bottle proves year after year that music festivals can be a place to learn, grow, and truly transform. Not to mention Lightning in a Bottle’s other incredible amenities from the immersive art spread throughout to the roller rink to the Unicorn Palace to the Jive Joint and beyond – there is of fun to be had and love to be spread around every corner.

Lightning in a Bottle will return home to Buena Vista Lake in Southern California and reclaim its traditional Memorial Day Weekend date – May 20th – May 25th, 2020. Tickets are available here.
