Wakaan leader and psychedelic mastermind, Liquid Stranger, will be taking his sorcery to Insomniac’s Park ‘N Rave concert series for a two-day takeover on Friday, April 23, and Saturday, April 24 at the NOS Events Center.
Martin Stääf (better known as Liquid Stranger) is a Swedish-born freeform bass producer who started his journey as a DJ almost two decades ago. Since then, Liquid Stranger has completely revolutionized the bass and underground bass music communities. Stranger’s sets are filled with wonky freeform bass sounds which truly push the limits in both sound and space. Stranger’s desire to push bass music boundaries allowed him to form freeform bass music label and fan favorite, Wakaan, in 2015. Wakaan has headlined stages at some of the biggest bass music festivals including Lost Lands, and Bass Canyon, and just in the past few years, Wakaan has been able to host its own festival known as Wakaan Music Festival.
