Miami Music Week is a yearly gathering that brings together fans and industry professionals alike culminating in one of the biggest electronic music festivals on the planet, Ultra Music Festival.
The showcase is a marathon for partiers as they attempt to start off festival season with a five-plus day bender of non-stop shows.
But with so many different events of all genres to choose from, it can be difficult to decide which one to full-send. Here’s EDM Maniac’s full guide to Miami Music Week 2023.
Wednesday, March 22
Kick off the festivities right on Wednesday, March 22 with your friends at EDM Maniac, Deep Tech Los Angeles Records, and New Life Sounds for the THICC Beats party in Miami.
This free event hosts Night Bass and Insomniac DJ Casmalia, Desert Hearts Black’s DJ IDeaL, Unlearn’s Doc Brown, Deep Tech Los Angeles Records boss Redux Saints, and so many more performers.
There is also a career-changing DJ contest where the winner will get to play poolside at the rooftop of the Clevelander Hotel for the epic MMW party.

Next up, HARD and III Points are bringing together a legendary lineup of international legends. Australian genre-less artist Mall Grab will be joined by an exciting B2B from the iconic Skream and the rising Miami natives INVT.

Thursday, March 23
Thursday, March 23 brings the sea-side sound to Miami’s beaches with a special Groove Cruise artist showcase. The event highlights Farris Wheel label head Gene Farris, house icon Maxinne, and Anthony Attalla, plus a takeover from We’re Never Going Home for a Miami staple’s return.
In 2024, Groove Cruise will celebrate 20 years on the high seas with their biggest ship ever at Groove Cruise Miami and this event is a perfect preview to all of the incredible new features they have in store.

Brownies and Lemonade has also unleashed an untamed lineup full of gigantic names for their MMW event. The masked producer Deathpact will be joined by saxophone talent GRiZ, young music prodigy Moore Kismet, and more.
Plus there is an unknown guest that cannot be missed given Brownies and Lemonade’s ability to surprise with top-tier names.

French house star Tchami is bringing some seriously talented friends with him to Miami as well with his Confessions event. The show will highlight the imprint head himself as well as Nitti, rebranded from Nitti Gritti, Curbi, Capozzi, and a slew of other label favorites.

Friday, March 24
Friday is where the party really kicks off with events from Mau P, Damian Lazarus’s Crosstown Rebels, the return of Kristina Sky’s United We Groove, and more.
Chart-topper Mau P is bringing a raging party from Amsterdam to Miami with Bruno Furlan and Mikey Barreneche. Fans can expect to hear viral tracks like “Drugs From Amsterdam” and “Gimme That Bounce.”

Zeds Dead and Subtronics are joining forces for a Deadbeats vs. Cyclops Recordings event at Miami Music Week. The event features regulars from both labels going head-to-head like CHEE, IMANU, A Hundred Drums, and Tape B.
There’s also a Zeds Dead B2B with a secret guest who (based on the number of question marks on the poster) could be the cyclops himself, Subtronics.

And the bender kicks into overdrive with Damian Lazarus’s Get Lost, a 24-hour-long party celebrating 20 years of his label Crosstown Rebels.
Over 90 artists will take over Factory Town for this event including Carl Craig, Pete Tong, Seth Troxler, Bedouin, Skream, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, Danny Tenaglia, and Chloé Caillet.

Chris Lake’s Black Book Records event is another highlight for Friday with some booty-shaking house perfect for Miami. Chris Lake, HoneyLuv B2B Harry Romero, Sosa, Miane, and Hank K will all bring their best for this label takeover.

And last is an event for trance and progressive fans looking for a community connection: United We Groove. In association with Trance Identity and EDM Maniac, celebrate the seventh year of United We Groove’s rooftop party with some of the top names in the genre today.
Headlined by mau5trap staple and icon Morgin Madison, Anjunabeats’ Amy Wiles, twice Grammy-nominated group Fatum, and host Kristina Sky, this is one event to not miss.

Saturday, March 25
And for those not attending Ultra Music Festival, there are still plenty of events to check out on Saturday.
Multi-genre producer Nitti is throwing a party with his friends called Nitti & Friends Miami sure to please those who still want the big festival energy without the big festival price.
Artist support includes trap icon 4B, house creative Curbi, Shaq’s son and DJ Myles O’Neal, and Bay Area-born party starter Wenzday.

Sunday, March 26
And to keep the party going on Sunday, DJ Mag is hosting a five-day pool party series in South Beach for less than the cost of a ticket to Ultra.
The week begins with a DJ Mag party on March 22 with ACRAZE, Dom Dolla, LP Giobbi, and an exclusive MMW performance by Purple Disco Machine.
Then, international label and taste-makers Defected follow with special guests Idris Elba and Sam Divine joining Ferreck Dawn, Hannah Wants, and more.
The Soundgarden is a Miami staple and epic pool party full of creatives like Francesca Lombardo, Nick Warren, and a unique Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs B2B Jonas Rathsman set.
Saturday is the Epic Pool Party showcasing legends Seth Troxler B2B Danny Tengalia and Victor Calderone.
Lastly, Sunday culminates in a Glitterbox takeover where house is the name of the game with Louie Vega, Eats Everything, DJ Minx plus tons of incredible party starters.
