Moore Kismet Shares New Alt-Electronic Track With Pauline Herr; “Parallel Heartbreak”

The rapidly ascending electronic music producer, Moore Kismet, has shared their first single of 2022, “Parallel Heartbreak.” This crossover piece sees Kismet connect with two past collaborators once more. The ever-versatile Pauline Herr contributed vocals to the track while Kismet again tapped Tate McCrae to co-write the song.

“The story behind ‘Parallel Heartbreak’ is a very long, challenging, but incredibly beautiful one. I knew that something special could be told with the lyricism and production of the song,” Kismet says. “I wanted the production to enhance the story that Tate wrote by showing the perspective of a lover who feels a true connection to someone but has doubts about possibly getting with them at the risk of being broken-hearted. As a young queer person, it’s hard to figure out what may be best for yourself in a relationship. I truly hope that people can relate to it and experience the feeling we had when creating it together.”

Kismet was probably on more “artists to watch” lists for 2022 than any other act in dance music. They already had a spectacular 2021 playing festivals like EDC Las Vegas and Lollapalooza while announcing the impending release of their debut album, Universe. Now they’re coming in hot with a new single in the first week of the year.
