The highly anticipated Subtronics remix of “Escape” by deadmau5 and Kaskade‘s new project, Kx5, is out now on mau5trap. Following chart-topping remixes from John Summit and Spencer Brown, the famed dance duo tapped Subtronics for the latest official remix.

The remix speeds up the original to create a sense of tension before picking up drama to prepare for the signature Subtronics drop. The riddim-inspired breakdown will have fans bouncing and headbanging all across the globe.

Subtronics stated in a press release “I pushed myself out of my comfort zone with this one to make it unique, while still staying authentic to myself, and I am very happy with how it turned out!” Listen below.

Subtronics, real name Jesse Kardon, grew up in Philadelphia, PA with a passion for drums and Radiohead. During the pandemic, the artist took center stage becoming an official partner on Twitch, producing XR/VR live-stream sets, and dropping a Splice Sample Pack. He also helped pioneer socially distanced drive-in and pod events and launched his very own label, Cyclops Recordings, in December of 2020.
