Toadface Shares ‘From the Earth’ EP On WAKAAN

Always breaking the rules of bass music, Ohio’s Todd Holler, better known as Toadface, showed no mercy on the scene on his latest EP “From the Earth,” dropping today on WAKAAN.

Continuing to carve his style into the bass community with his “swampy bass” sounds, Holler is one of the most credited experimental producers in the game, always pushing the envelope and keeping his fans on their feet.

In This latest EP he explores multiple tempos, switching it up throughout tracks, but sticking to the deep wub-filled basslines you can find consistently throughout his whole discography.

Back in early November, Holler showcased what you can look forward to in “From the Earth” releasing the single “Cardboard.” A track that starts with guitar strums over a fierce melodic build-up that drops into a Mid-tempo bassline with full-body snares that follow up with rhythmic clap hits.

Holler took to Instagram prior to releasing the EP stating “My new E.P “From the Earth” is a collection of experimental songs I have written on earth coming out on WAKAAN dropping this Friday. One of the tracks on this I spent 50 hours on so a lot of time went into this so I hope everyone enjoys.”
