One of Ultra’s most iconic worldwide events, Ultra Europe, just made its eighth return to Split, Croatia this on July 8-10, 2022, culminating with a full week of Destination ULTRA events. The 2022 festival welcomed more than 160,000 attendees from 141 countries, in addition to millions of virtual attendees streaming the #ULTRALive broadcast.
Friday held a rare, impromptu two-hour set from one of the world’s most famous DJs, Armin van Buuren. Headliner Timmy Trumpet made his ULTRA Europe debut on Saturday, and Sunday closed out with Hardwell’s first festival performance since Ultra Miami this past March.
“Today, it’s more important than ever to show your love for one another, and music is one of the ways to do it!” Nicky Romero declared during his set.
The Destination Ultra, week-long events invited ravers to continue the festivities at Croatia’s islands with NERVO headlining the Regatta Party at 585 Club, a surprise ULTRA Beach day set from Martin Garrix, and a RESISTANCE Hvar takeover with house and techno favorites ANNA and Ilario Alicante. The extended extravaganza closed out with none other than legend Michael Bibi.
ULTRA Europe concluded by announcing the ninth edition taking place July 7 – July 9, 2023 at Park Mladeži in Split, Croatia.
