Despite the current climate, the dance music community has kept the scene alive through drive-in raves and festivals across the country. After the wildly successful drive-in raves thus far with EDM Drive-In in San Antonio and Seven Lions in Arizona back in June, the drive-in style events are becoming more popular as traditional live events remain on hold due to coronavirus lockdowns. Next month, the latest event Roll n’ Rave debuts in Salt Lake city for two days of dance music.
Roll n’ Rave is an entirely bass festival featuring some of the biggest names in the genre. Performances will feature sets by Subtronics, Boogie T B2B Dirt Monkey, Squnto, Sodown, Sumthin Sumthin and Kumarion, Riot Ten B2B Sullivan King, Wooli, Kai Wachi, G-Rex, Stuca, Sweet Teeth, and more.
The event is set to take place September 11th and 12th, 2020 at the sprawling Utah Motorsports Campus in Salt Lake City. Similar to other events, the event will mimic the style of drive-in movies as guests arrive in cars to enjoy the show. In an effort to practice safety, temperature checks and social distancing will be required.
Taking place over the course of two days, the event expects a turnout of 2,500 guests or 500 vehicles. Tickets are currently available here with prices ranging from $200 per vehicle each day, upwards to $625 for VIP tickets. Guests are encouraged to decorate their cars once on site, so get your tickets and get ready to rave!
