The festival has been postponed to June 17-19 of 2022
Instead of hosting its debut event this year, EDC Portugal will be moving to June 17-19 of 2022 due to ongoing travel restrictions on certain countries and their pandemic-related complications. Because of these reasons, EDC Portugal does not believe they will be able to deliver the true EDC experience that guests are accustomed to experiencing every year. This is what the festival had to say about the postponement,
“Dear Headliners, thank you for your patience and understanding over these past few months. We’ve worked extremely hard to deliver EDC in Portugal for you, but given the continuing travel restrictions on certain countries and other pandemic-related complications, we are unfortunately are not able to guarantee the proper EDC experience for all of our fans globally at this time. As a result, EDC Portugal will be moving to June 17+18+19 of 2022.
The lineup for this year’s EDC Portugal was supposed to include performances from Alesso and Charlotte de Witte, amongst others. Despite this year’s event being postponed to next, the festival did openly comment that next year’s lineup will be better than this year’s. Current ticket holders will receive an email by Friday, May 14 outlying instructions of what to do next regarding ticket rollovers and refunds.
