Heatwave Music Festival, Chicago’s newest art and music experience, has dropped an insane lineup for its inaugural event. The festival is pop-art inspired and seeks to “bridge the gap between experiential art and globally leading dance music performance”, according to a press release. Attendees can expect three visual arts environments inspired by comic books, Andy Warhol, and more. The lineup includes heavyweights like Above & Beyond, Galantis, and RL Grime. But every set is definitely worth checking out. Rome in Silver, Phantoms, and Ranger Trucco have had big years and will throw down at Heatwave.
Heatwave is set to take place at the iconic Douglass Park from July 16-17, 2022. The event is hosted by the team behind Auris Presents, a staple in the Chicago dance scene. They are the brains behind events at RADIUS, Concord Music Hall, and PRYSM. Chicago is a hub for dance music and the perfect spot to celebrate iconic moments in both art and music history. Tickets to Heatwave Music Festival are available on May 13, 2022, here.
