The supergroup first teased their new project during Kaskade’s show at SoFi Stadium back in July of 2021 where deadmau5 served as an opening act. Now their debut single is here.
The song is called “Escape,” and it reflects both the immense talent and collaborative chemistry between the two powerhouse producers and the featured vocalist, Hayla. Beginning with a haunting piano interlude, the trio of artists quickly demonstrate their ability to seamlessly combine their adept prowess as musicians.
The subtle yet compelling synth work that defines the deadmau5 sound. The tight, effortless house beat Kaskade has mastered in his decades of producing. Hayla’s voice coasts above these elements before she launches into an impassioned vocal swell that sees all the supporting sonics rise with her.
